Samsung fans will wait in anticipation for 14 March as a day to remember, when Samsung unveils its Samsung Galaxy SIV smartphone.
Possible Looks
There were quite a few possible looks of Galaxy SIV, and the above is just one of the few possible looks that the Galaxy SIV could sport.
With this new incarnation of the SIII phone, we believe two features would stand out – Smart Scrolling and Smart Pause, if what has been going around is true.
Smart Scrolling
With smart scrolling, the phone will track a phone user’s eyes, and base on the eye control, determine which part of the screen to scroll. This was shared by a reliable source – Samsung employee who refused to be named. I would imagine that when I read articles and my eyes reach the bottom of the page, the galaxy phone’s eye detection software will automatically scroll down the page further to reveal the next paragraphs/half screenful of text. Apparently, the speed of acceleration of the scroll can also be controlled with the angle of your face!
Smart Pause
Say you are watching a video, and your friend came back, and talked and chat up with you a little. Previously, you would need to stop/pause the video by tapping on the screen before turning to your friend. Now, the need for that is eliminated. Smart pause automatically pauses your video playback whenever it detects that your eyes are not looking at the screen of the phone. Simple concept, but implemented as a pretty cool feature.
Specifications
And, without further ado, here’s the specifications that had been expected (someone had conducted an Antutu benchmark on a Galaxy S4 and published the specs):
- Operating System: Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- CPU: Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU clocked at 1.8GHz

It is expected that SIV will have removable plastic back cover to achieve a lighter weight, but don’t be deceived as they could be more durable than the backs of other handsets, simply because they are flexible/bendable, absorbing any physical impact remarkably better.
