After visiting Germany, I must say I loved the place. The journey brought us through the right mixture of city views and country sights. It was a great travel.
Part 1: We started our adventure from Frankfurt the main city, down the beautiful Rhine river, and then the town of Heidelberg…
Part 2: We ventured from the big city of Frankfurt to a quaint castle hotel – Burg Colmberg. Stayed for a night, then went on the Rothenburg, Dinkelsbuhl and Fussen.
Part 3: Bringing us through the scenic route along the romantic route… We visited the Ludwig castle (Neuschwanstein), scenic lake Plansee, the summer palace (Linderhof Castle), Hotel Garni Gästehaus, and yes – the 2,280m high Karwendel mountain range.
Part 4: (the last part) brings us from Mittenwald to Munich. We caught the Oktoberfest on its last day! The next few days were spent on touring Munich including BMW museum, the Residenz and cycling around interesting spots. Of course some shopping too!
